Playing Golf Like a Pro Essentials

BY William A Mitchell

Watching professional players makes golfing seem to easy-and maybe it is. Many trainers often have difficult techniques you can learn, but are not necessary to-at least appear like-a pro. Different techniques allow you to accomplish these harder moves, but you must first have a firm knowledge base of the basics. Once you do. The harder stuff will come more easily.

Of course, drills that train your golf swing require-well, swinging. But there are other methods that you can use to change that up a bit. First place several tee's in the ground next to each other. Start then by swinging at the closest one and working your way down repeatedly. This will allow you to find a decent swing speed for yourself while practicing your balance. Make sure that your arms and body are twisting properly with club, not just your wrists. You can achieve a harder hit when your whole body's into it.

If you're ready to start swinging, picking out the correct clubs for the occasion is essential. Learning the difference between a 6 and a 9 makes a big difference in your game. If you have a shorter the club, the distance it will hit is higher-but the higher the number of the club, the shorter the club. It may sound confusing at first, but with some help from someone more experienced you should be able to find what you need.

Practicing your swinging will come in handy. If you swing enough times, your body will pick up the motion you are doing and repeat it more easily for the next time. Practicing with a trainer or in your own home can make a big difference in the over-all quality of your swing. Try lining up tees in a row and repeatedly hitting one ball after another moving down the line. This practice will allow you to discover how to handle your swing and keep balance. Most importantly, let loose and have fun!
